Gail Thompson
Family Department

Gail qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and has worked in family law since then. She aims to offer practical and cost-effective advice to clients and can assist with a broad range of family law cases including divorce and separation as well as the advising on the resultant financial issues that arise due this and matters concerning the children. She can advise both where clients have been married to their partner or in cases where they have been living together, including for same sex couples. On the opposite side of the spectrum Gail can also advise clients who may be looking to move in with their partners or get married but who wish to enter into an agreement to protect their assets for the future. Gail is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution which recognises members of Resolution who demonstrate excellence in practice in family law. She is also a collaboratively trained solicitor which is a process that may be suitable for those who wish to resolve matters regarding financial and children matters with as little involvement with court as possible. Gail is involved in the local legal community. She is a committee member of the local Resolution Committee and has previously held the position of Vice President of the Mid Essex Law Society.
