Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and has specialised in family law since that time. Catherine deals with a broad range of family matters including divorce, financial matters and matters concerning children. She advises both married and unmarried clients including those in same sex relationships.

In addition to advising clients who are separating, Catherine also provides advice for clients who are in relationships and wish to formalise arrangements, for example, by entering into pre-marital agreements.

Catherine’s experience is evidenced by her specialist accreditations. She is a member of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Law Panel and she is also accredited with Resolution. Resolution is an association of family lawyers, all of whom adhere to a strict code of practice geared around resolving issues in a non-confrontational manner.

Catherine is also a qualified mediator and is therefore able to assist clients in resolving matters through that forum with a view to hopefully avoiding Court proceedings.

Catherine will always discuss all options with her clients to ensure that matters are dealt with in the most appropriate way. She recognises that each client is different and therefore has individual needs. She therefore tailors her advice appropriately to ensure the best outcomes.
