Sam Nundy, Associate Litigation Manager at Levy & Co, represented Virginia McCullough, who was charged with the murder of her mother and father at the family home, after which she concealed the bodies in the house, where she then continued to live for four years before being arrested for their murder in September 2023.

Christine Agnew KC, 2 Bedford Row Chambers, and Shauna Ritchie, Mayfair Place Chambers, were instructed Counsel.

In what was an extraordinary, complex, and sensitive case, Mr Justice Johnson was persuaded not to pass a whole order as sought by the Crown, but instead passed a minimum term order of life imprisonment with a minimum term of 36 years.
